We highly value the intergenerational nature of our church, and we are deeply dedicated to nurturing the faith of the children and youth in our congregation. We commit to the spiritual growth of young people through classes, music ministries, family ministries, mentoring relationships, worship, childcare, camping, and special events. Monthly Gatherings

First Covenant's Youth Group meets once per month, usually on Saturday afternoons or evenings. Monthly gathering build community, deepen relationships and provide opportunities for spiritual growth.
New friends are always welcome, contact Pastor Ellie to get involved!

Here are examples of our youth group activities:

Youth Group Christmas Party, featuring cookie decorating and a White Elephant gift exchange!
Youth Group Lock In! Join us for an old fashioned lock in, including classic youth group games, snacks and maybe even a little sleep! Party starts at 7pm, will go until church the next morning.

Retreats

Retreats are a great way to get away from the business of city life and experience God in a different setting! Retreats are hosted at our conference camp and event center, Cascades, in Yelm, WA.

Junior High Retreat: Thunder (grades 6-8) happened in October 2019, here are some pictures from our weekend!
Senior High Retreat: MUD (grades 9-12) is scheduled once a year.

Brand New Youth Room

Thanks to the generous support of the Council and congregation, the new Youth Room has been completed! Featuring a cozy sitting area with comfy couches and a TV and space for Sunday School, the Youth Room is ready to be enjoyed by the youth for many years to come!
