Preschool & Kids’ Choir
Music programs for all ages and interests offer opportunities to learn and grow, as well as contribute to worship that stirs the soul and lifts our hearts.
From traditional choir with pipe organ to the sounds of children singing familiar carols, our church loves to make a joyful noise to the Lord.
Preschool and Kids’ Choir perform periodically throughout the year –- helping children express their faith in song and action. When not performing, children can still expect a special time, each Sunday morning, just for music and praising God. Many school-age children experience their first instrumental performance in this safe and fun environment.
Adult Choir
Our choir reflects the diverse nature of our congregation with a repertoire that spans Bach to modern Christian music. Choral singers are taught correct vocal technique, as well as the spiritual aspects of ministry through music. Together, choir members prepare meaniful, thoughful worship on Sunday morning and special events throughout the year. The ensemble rehearses most Wednesday evenings at 7 pm in the sanctuary during the school year. New singers are always welcomed....so come join for a particular season or the whole year!
String Band
First Covenant String Band dates back many genearations and leads the chruch in music once a month with a blend of traditional hymns, old-time, revival, and country gospel music. By no means exclusive, the String Band welcomes all skill levels, ages, and instruments including: violin, viola, bass fiddle, piano, guitar, mandolin, voice and even accordion and banjo!
